This is absolutely ridiculous! I was a student at CHS and this is an absolute disgrace to anyone who is presently or has attended this school. I could understand if the girls soccer team is suing because the school is issuing the football team a bigger budget, but they are not. Football's funding comes from outside contributors, such as their booster club. The football teams booster club works year around for their funds. It is up to the soccer team to raise their funds if they want them like the football team does. I think the football team would have a lawsuit if they did issue the girls soccer team more funding. Why should the girls get more funding if the football team doesn't? It's not the football teams fault that they work hard for their money. Girls, suck it up and earn your money the way all the other sports do.
