'Jazz on Jackson' is Saturday

Jazz on Jackson at South Jackson Civic Center is not just a concert-it's a magical evening!  Coming on Saturday at 7 p.m., there will be a reception hosted by Marcia Cowan and friends. Easy listening music will be provided by Robert Hiers, pianist; Samantha Terrell, vocalist; and Brooke Borcherding, flutist.  Watercolors by prize-winning local artist Jim House will be on display.  At 8 p.m., the Warren Auditorium will be filled with exciting jazz music as the Eric Mintel Quartet performs A Tribute to Dave Brubeck along with original material.

Following the performance, guests will have an opportunity to meet the musicians and enjoy coffee and dessert.
