A former Moore County School Board Chairman has been handed a federal prison term over child pornography charges. David Camp will serve an 80 month sentence after pleading guilty to possession of kiddie porn.
Camp was arrested last July at his Moore County home after agents in California found explicit sexual material on an internet chat room site. Camp faced a possible prison term of ten years. He will be on probation for life. Camp admitted he had been involved in child pornography for five years.
He served as Chairman of the Moore County Board from 2005 until September 2008.
