Bea Butler
Funeral services for Mrs. Bea Butler, age 79 of Manchester were conducted Sunday, June 27, 2010 at 3:00 PM from the First United Methodists Church in Manchester with Reverend Jay Archer and Reverend Neal Glass officiating. Burial followed at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Butler passed away Friday, June 25, 2010 at Alive Hospice in Nashville, TN. She was born May 4, 1931 in Pickett County, Tennessee the daughter of the late James Lloyd Cope and Ina Crouch Cope. She retired from Peoples Bank in Manchester where she worked as head Bookkeeper, and most recently the Operations Department, where she was employed from 1969 until 1996. She was affectionately known in the community for her concern for others. She was passionate about the Tennessee Vols and the Tennessee Titans. She also enjoyed her flower garden. She was a devoted member of the First United Methodist Church since 1961 where she was active in many classes and prayer groups to include, Upper Room Sunday School Class, the Wesley Wanders’, Prayer Shawl Circle and the United Methodist Women’s Group.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, George Butler and a brother, William Cope. Survivors include three children, Sheila Bair and husband Steve of Manchester, Debbie Bayer and husband, Jeff of Bell Buckle, TN, and Michael Butler and wife, Trish of Franklin, TN; four grandchildren, T.C. Miller and wife, Teri of Meridianville, AL, Leah Bair of Dearborn, Michigan, Stephanie Hershman and husband, Jared of Manchester, and Emma Butler of Franklin; one great-granddaughter, Keena Seivers of also of Manchester; brothers and sisters, Ruth (Charles) Ferrell of Byrdstown, TN, Cue (Delbert) Storie of Johnson City, TN, Robert (Marian) Cope of Crossville, TN, Curtis (Carolyn) Cope of Jamestown, TN, and Martha (J.R.) Simmons also of Byrdstown, TN and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and loving friends.

david anthony ray reynolds
Funeral services for David Anthony Ray Reynolds, the infant son of Joanna Frakes and Tony Reynolds of Manchester were conducted at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at Manchester Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Steve Anderson officiating. Burial followed in the Summitville Cemetery. Infant Reynolds passed away on Sunday, June 27 at Medical Center of Manchester.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by two sisters, Josie Frakes and Ladonna Reynolds, uncle Jason (Amy) Frakes, aunt Kelly Wilson, grandparents, Joyce & Jesse Anderson, Mike & Linda Frakes, and David & Judy McCormick, and great grandparents, Bethel Elliott and Mary Lee Ownsby, all of Manchester.

Carolyn L. Burks
Funeral services for Mrs. Carolyn Louise Burks, age 67, of Manchester will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Sunday, July 4, 2010 at Manchester Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Albert Watters officiating. Burial will follow in the Simmons Cemetery. Visitation with the Burks family will be from 3:00 until 9:00 PM on Saturday, July 3, 2010. Mrs. Burks passed away on Thursday at Medical Center of Manchester.
Mrs. Burks was born in Manchester, TN, the daughter of the late Johnnie and Lorene Phillips Reed. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She is survived by her loving husband, Kenneth Cecil Burks of Manchester; one son, Danny (Sandra) Burks of Manchester; two daughters, Tammy (Kerry) Seals and Patsy Cottle, both of Manchester; two brothers, Johnny Reed of Manchester and Bobby Reed of Three Rivers, MI; two sisters, Mary Landers and Betty Scott, both of Manchester; five grandchildren, Carol Curtis, Chris Hill, Dustin Seals, Ethan Seals and Rick Neely; and five great-grandchildren, Kiley Curtis, Hannah Curtis, Hunter Hill, Cara Hill and Seth Hill.

Susie Hale
Funeral services for Mrs. Susie Gray Hale, age 45, of Manchester will be conducted at 10 AM on Saturday, July 3, 2010 at Manchester Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Benny Benjamin officiating. Burial will follow in Fredonia Cemetery. Visitation with the Hale family will be from 5-9 PM on Friday, July 2 at the funeral home. Mrs. Hale passed away on Tuesday, June 29 at Middle Tennessee Medical Center.
Mrs. Hale was born in Manchester, TN, the daughter of Anita Gray and the late Johnny Gray, who passed away in 2008. She was a cosmetologist and a homemaker. She was a 1983 graduate of Coffee County High School.
In addition to her mother, Mrs. Hale is survived by her husband, Glenn Hale, daughters, Jenna Lovelady, Kristen Lovelady, Hanna Lovelady, Lexie Hale, and Bunny Hale; sons, Dalton Hale, Forrest Hale, and Isaac Hale; one brother, John Gray; and one sister, Shelley Thomison.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to an account for Mrs. Hale’s minor children set up at First National Bank in Manchester.
