Rodney Neal Riddle, 60, of Hartselle, passed away Tuesday at Huntsville Hospital. Mr. Riddle was born at Queen City Infirmary in Tullahoma, Tennessee, and raised in Manchester, Tennessee. He was a loving father, husband, brother, son, and friend. Mr. Riddle is survived by his wife, Pam Riddle; two sons, Joseph Benard Strickland and wife Leann, and Joshua Neal Riddle; two grandchildren, Caitlin Brianna Strickland and Joseph Connor Strickland, all of Hartselle; mother, Jo Nell Riddle; three sisters, Brenda Riddle, Janice Riddle, and Lee Ann Lundquist and husband Mark; and brother, James Douglas “Bud” Riddle and wife Pam, all of Manchester. He was preceded in death by his father, Joe Dillard Riddle, of Manchester.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville. The family had a visitation service Friday at 4:30 PM, followed by a memorial service at 5:30 PM, at Rural Grove Baptist Church, with Bro. Rusty Hodges officiating.
Troy (chris) Keeton
Troy Christopher (Chris) Keeton of Clear Lake, TX, went home to live with his LORD and Savior Jesus Christ, for all eternity on August 1, 2010. Chris was born in Knoxville, TN on March 21, 1963. He leaves behind to join him in heaven one day his mother Joyce Keeton, brother Greg Keeton, sister Brigitte Keeler, nieces Natasha Devine and husband Brandon, Tammy Keeton, nephew Joshua Box, and great nephew Noah Luke Devine, along with many dear friends.
Visitation was held Sunday, August 8, 5:00-7:00 PM at Crowder Funeral Home, 111 E. Medical Center Blvd, Webster, TX. The funeral service were held on Monday, August 9, 2010, 11:00 AM, at the same location, Dr. David Fannin, pastor of Nassau Bay Baptist Church, officiating. Graveside services were held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, August 10, 2010 at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens in Tullahoma, TN.

Esther Vannoy
Funeral services for Mrs. Esther Elizabeth Vannoy Parrish, age 82, of Manchester will be conducted on Saturday, August 14, 2010 at 2:00PM at Manchester Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. David Meek officiating. Burial will follow in Cypress Gardens. Friends may view the body on Saturday, August 14, 2010 from 11:00AM until 2:00PM. Family visitation will be from 1:00PM until time of the service. Mrs. Parrish made her beautiful transition on Monday night, August 2, in her home surrounded by many of her loving family members.
Mrs. Parrish was born on September 2, 1927, the third child of the late Mr. Roy Herman and Mrs. Nellie May Vannoy in Manchester. She completed elementary school in Manchester and then graduated as Valedictorian from Davidson Academy High School in Tullahoma. Mrs. Parrish received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration in 1948 from Tennessee Agriculture and Industrial State College (now Tennessee State University) in Nashville, Tennessee and a Master's Degree in Education in 1970 from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio.
Mrs. Parrish was employed at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio for some ten years before pursuing a career as an educator in the Dayton, Ohio Public Schools. It was obvious that she had truly found her passion in the classroom for educating, mentoring and inspiring young students to greatness. Whether working at the Air Force Base or in the classroom, Mrs. Parrish was always loved and highly respected for her attention to details, her creativity, her integrity, her love for mankind and her spiritual foundation.
GOD was always the head of Mrs. Parrish's life and she served him faithfully as an active member of the Adelite Avenue Church of Christ (now Gard Avenue Church of Christ) in Dayton, Ohio. Her years of dedicated service to the church were indeed a labor of love with her late beloved husband of fifty nine years, Bro. John Kenneth Parrish, Sr., a longtime Elder at the Gard Avenue Church of Christ.
In 2006 after her health faced some difficult challenges, Mrs. Parrish returned home to her Beloved Manchester with her husband to receive constant love, nurturing and care from her devoted brothers and sisters. Her oldest son John, Jr. (Skip) soon realized that his support and care was needed and he joined his parents in Manchester to care for them, thus bringing his Mother great joy. Her last four years have been spent with her loving son, John, Jr. and her two devoted brothers Robert and Wayne Vannoy and two beloved sisters, Forrestine Simmons and Delores Cooley. Her two sisters-in-law, Elores Vannoy and Annie M. Vannoy and brother-in-law Charles Cooley surrounded her with their love, their support and their presence.
Mrs. Parrish is survived by her two loving and devoted sons, John Kenneth Parrish, Jr. and Mark Ansel Parrish; two devoted brothers, Robert and Wayne Vannoy; two beloved sisters, Forrestine Simmons and Delores Cooley; three loving sisters-in-law, Elores Vannoy, Annie M. Vannoy and JoAnn Vannoy; one devoted brother-in-law, Charles Cooley; two loving aunts, Lorene McReynolds and Bettye Adams; a very special loving and devoted Caregiver, Natalie Lynn Stephenson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Burial followed in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. Mr. Barnes passed away Monday night at Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga.
Mr. Barnes was born in Boston, KY, the son of the late Charles Cornelius Barnes and Ethel Pauline Roller Barnes. He was retired from General Electric and a member of AFLCIO G.E. Local #762 in Louisville, KY. Mr. Barnes is survived by his loving wife, Karen Barnes of Hillsboro; four brothers, Mike Barnes of Elizabethtown, KY, David Barnes and Steve Barnes of Bardstown, KY, and Joe Barnes of Louisville, KY; and five sisters, Brenda Schumaker, Elaine Gerrard, Edie Richardson, Martha Bennett and Cathy Foxx. Funeral services for Mr. Clifton Andrew Scott, Sr., age 79, of Manchester were conducted at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, August 11 at Manchester Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Allen Joslyn officiating. Burial followed in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. Mr. Scott passed away Sunday morning surrounded by his family at his residence.
Mr. Scott was born in Morgan County, AL, the son of the late Edward Scott and Nettie Standridge Scott. He was a lifelong farmer in Coffee County, a member of the Farm Bureau and a member of Asbury United Methodist Church. In addition to his parents, Mr. Scott was also preceded in death by a brother, William A. Scott and two sisters that died in infancy. He is survived by his loving wife, Hazel Cornelison Scott of Manchester; one son, Andy Scott of Manchester; two daughters, Debbie (Derwin) Vandagriff of Manchester and Kathy (Ken) Birdsong of Franklin, TN; one brother, Billy Ray Scott of Ridgecrest, CA; one sister, Yeuvawn Axleroad of Manchester; and six grandchildren, Jennifer Vandagriff, Jeff Vandagriff, Nicolle Scott, Hayden Scott, Rachel Birdsong and Greyson Birdsong.
