Robert Ernest Steverson, age 82, of Tullahoma, passed away Tuesday, November 03, 2009, at Harton Regional Medical Center. A native of Nashville, he was the son of the late Chester and Mable Clemens Steverson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Brenda Meade; one grandson, Steven Knowles; four brothers, Vernon Steverson, Frank Steverson, Douglas Steverson, and Gilbert Steverson; three sisters, Mary Odum, Vida Stephens, and Ada Hunter. Mr. Steverson is a retired manager from Lone Star Industries, a veteran of the US Navy, and a member of Unity Baptist Church.
Visitation with the family was Friday from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Tullahoma Funeral Home and Saturday until the time of services. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Tullahoma Funeral Home with Brothers David Walls and Jake Stricklin officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens with military honors. The family requests that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, 850 Fort Wood Street, Chattanooga, TN. 37403. Funeral services for Mrs. Vivian Marie Keele, age 87, of Manchester were conducted at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at Manchester Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Danny Anderson officiating. Burial followed in the Hurricane Cemetery. Visitation with the Keele family was from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM, Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at the funeral home. Mrs. Keele passed away on Monday, November 2, 2009 at Mountain View Nursing Home in Winchester.
Mrs. Keele was born in Albertville, AL, the daughter of the late John L. and Edna
Ailene Ragsdale Graves. In earlier years, she was an inspector at Eden Industries,
worked at Noah's Headstart and as a cook for the Coffee County Senior Citizens. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Edd Keele; a son, Herman E. "Buster" Keele; a daughter, Sadie A. Keele; a brother, Buddy Graves; a sister, Jane Walfrop; and a son-in-law, Freeman Banks. She is survived by two sons, Don (Diane) Keele and Randy (Angela) Keele; four daughters, Juanita Banks, Brenda (Burnice) Anthony, Peggy (James) Creek, and Patricia (Billy) Farless; one sister-in-law, Geneva Graves; eleven grandchildren; and several great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mr. Jerry Lynn Hillis, age 51, of Hillisboro were conducted Tuesday, November 3, 2009 at 12:00 PM at Manchester Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ralph Hart officiating. Burial followed in the Hillsboro Memorial Cemetery. Visitation with the Hillis family was from 10-12 PM, Tuesday, November 3, 2009 at the funeral home. Mr. Hillis passed away on November 1, 2009.
Mr. Hillis was born in Nashville, TN, the son of the late Arbie Hillis and Claudette Baldwin Hillis of Hillsboro, who survives. He was a self employed carpenter. In earlier years, Jerry enjoyed coaching softball and watching his daughters play softball. In addition to his mother, he is survived by two daughters, Katie Lynn Hillis and Erin Stubblefield of Manchester; one brother, Arbie (Elizabeth) Hillis, Jr.; one sister, Teresa Ann (Terry) Floyd; niece, Nicole McGrew Fish; and nephews, Levi McGrew, Shannon Reed and Michael Hillis.

Funeral services for Ms. Jean Eley, age 73 of Manchester, were conducted Sunday, November 1, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Coffee County Funeral Chapel. Burial followed in Welker Cemetery. Visitation with the family was Saturday evening, October 31, 2009 at 5:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Ms. Eley passed away Friday, October 30, 2009 at Harton Regional Medical Center.
Ms. Jean Eley was born June 17, 1936 in Hardin County, TN to the late O.T. and Arzie Layton Blakney. She worked as a dedicated nurse for 50 years and was a member of Main Street Church of Christ.
Her survivors include her daughter, Debbie (Jerry) Medford of Manchester; sister, Linda (Wilburn) Ashe of Selmer, TN; grandchildren, Sabrina (Zach) Grosch of Hillsboro, Michael Medford of Manchester and fiancé Jackie Boylan; great-grandchildren, Alexandria Sartain and Peyton Grosch.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
