Rachel A. HornsbyFuneral services for Mrs. Rachel A. Hornsby, age 64, a resident of Manchester, will be conducted Saturday (today), December 19, 2009 at 11 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Manchester. The body will lie in state at the church from 10 a.m. until time of services. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. The family received friends Friday evening from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Hornsby passed away Monday, December 14, 2009 in Manchester. She was born January 23, 1945 in Mississippi. She was the daughter of the late A.J. Atkins and Corrine Barefoot Atkins. Mrs. Hornsby owned and operated Rachel’s Beauty Salon in Manchester for over 20 years.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Franklin K. Hornsby who passed away in 1999.
Survivors include her son, Wayne C. Hornsby of Manchester, two grandchildren, Jessica Hornsby Parker and husband, Robert of Manchester and Sean E. Hornsby also of Manchester; three great-grandchildren, Aaron C. Cope, Aidan T. Cope and Avery R. Parker all of Manchester; a sister, Betty Crump of Columbus, Mississippi and a special aunt and friend, Mrs. Billie Shropshire of Manchester and numerous nieces, nephews and loving friends.

Shields Keller Lovell, Jr.
Funeral services for Shields Keller Lovell, Jr., age 72 a resident of Manchester were conducted Friday, December 18, 2009 at 11 a.m. at Coffee County Funeral Chapel with Brother Bill Adams officiating. Buriall followed at Fredonia Cemetery. Visitation with the family was Thursday evening from 5-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Lovell passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2009 at NHC Health Care in Murfreesboro. He was born June 15, 1937 in West Chester, Ohio the son of the late Shields Keller Lovell and Myrtle Gorsuch Lovell.

Fred Houston Henley
Funeral services for Mr. Fred Houston Henley, age 80, a resident of Manchester, were conducted Monday, December 14, 2009 at 2 p.m. at Coffee County Funeral Chapel with Brother Leon Williams officiating. Burial followed at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. The family received friends Sunday afternoon from 4-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Henley passed away Saturday morning at his residence. He was born January 9, 1929 in Coffee County, TN the son of the late John Harvey Henley and Margie Evans Henley.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife, Leoma Gilliam Henley who passed away in 2001 and a son, Dewayne Henley, two brothers, Melvin and Gordon Henley.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Freida and Darrell Floyd of Manchester, five grandchildren, Johnny Floyd and wife, Angela, Rebecca Eaton and husband, Daryl, Jonathan Floyd, Michael Henley and Kyle Henley; five great-grandchildren, Justin and Lacey Floyd, Bobby and Emily Eaton and Carolyn Angelique Henley and one great-great granddaughter, Cloiee Alexis Floyd and a very special friend, Minerva Espy.
The family requests memorial contributions be made to New Hope Baptist Church in Memory of Mr. Henley.

Elbert Odear
Elbert Odear age 91, of Tullahoma died Wednesday, December 16, 2009 at Harton Regional Medical Center. He was a native of Coalmont and the son of the late George and Liddy Odear. He was a retired miner and construction worker.
Visitation with the family was Friday, December 18, 2009 from 10 a.m. until the time of funeral services beginning at 2:00 pm in the Tullahoma Funeral Home Chapel with Bro David Walls officiating. Brandon Leon Riddle
Brandon Leon Riddle, age 27, formerly of Tullahoma, Tennessee, died Wednesday, December 9, 2009 in Jacksonville, Fl. He was a native of Tullahoma and the son of Donnie and Cindy Riddle of Tullahoma.
Visitation with the family was Tuesday from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Tullahoma Funeral Home. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Tullahoma Funeral Home with Bro. A. J. Farris E. Weddington
Farris E. Weddington, age 99 of Tullahoma passed away peacefully on December 13, 2009 at home surrounded friends, family and – his pastor. He was born December 20, 1909 in Peach Orchard, Arkansas and moved to Springfield Missouri as a child. He was a faithful member of Wesley Heights United Methodist Church.
