Linda Kay Jacobs
Funeral services for Linda Kay Jacobs, age 59 of Hillsboro were conducted at 1:00pm, Tuesday, December 29 at the Manchester Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Bennie Benjamin officiating.  Burial followed in the Prairie Plains Church of Christ Cemetery.  Visitation with the Jacobs family will be from 4pm until 8pm, Monday, December 28 at Manchester Funeral Home.  Mrs. Jacobs passed away Saturday, December 26 at the Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga following an extended illness.
Mrs. Jacobs was born in Coffee County, Tennessee the daughter of the late Robert Lewis Bartlett and Willie Ruth Johnson Bartlett.  She was a homemaker and in addition to her parents was also preceded in death by her husband, James “Jake” Jacobs who died in 2006, by one brother, Ricky Lewis Bartlett and by two sisters, Bobbie Gail Wolak and Kathy Ann Bartlett.  Mrs. Jacobs is survived by; one son, Jason Edward Jacobs of Hillsboro, Tn; one sister, Sue (Ross) Simmons of Manchester, Tn; Nieces and Nephew-John Thomas Gilbert of Manchester, amantha Leigh Bartlett of Smithville, Tracey (Richard) Yates Adams of Hillsboro, one great nephew, Zachary Adams of Hillsboro.

Kay A. Choate
Kay A. Choate, age 71 of Tullahoma died Saturday, December 19, 2009 at Harton Regional Medical Center surrounded by her family. She was born in Detroit, Michigan the daughter of the late Rufus and Ora Hull Boles. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers Lynn, Jimmy and Carl Boles. Kay was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was member of College Street Baptist Church and her love of children and desire to help others called her to teach Sunday school and serve as a youth leader. Her husband’s Air Force career carried her to live in many places throughout the United States and in several foreign countries.

Donald (Don) c. Cornelius, Sr.
Donald (Don) C. Edward Cornelius, Sr., age 69, of Tullahoma, passed away December 24, 2009 at Harton Regional Medical Center. A native of Winchester, he was the son of the late E.C. and Daisy Tucker Cornelius. He was a musician and a member of the Victory Baptist Church.

Donald Turner Moore
Donald Turner Moore, age 63 of Tullahoma died Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at Harton Regional Medical Center. He was born in Tullahoma and was the son of the late Cecil and Ruby Moore. He was also preceded in death by a sister Peggy Moore and 2 brothers Carl Wayne and Randall Dean Moore. Donnie was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses and had been a forklift operator for Smith and Son Grocery Supply.
He is survived by two aunts Agnes Baker and Louise West, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Graveside services were held Thursday, December 24, 2009 at Oakwood Cemetery under the direction of Tullahoma Funeral Home.

Leta Marie Peppers Montgomery
Leta Marie Peppers Montgomery, age 73, of Tullahoma passed away Sunday at Harton Regional Medical Center. She was a native of Lexington, Missouri and a daughter of the late Jacob Clyde and Mildred Marie Deatheridge Peppers. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Montgomery was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Montgomery in 2007. She was a retired social worker for the State of Tennessee and was of the Baptist faith.

Horace Lathaniel Goodwin.
Mr. Goodwin passed away Monday, December 28, 2009 at his residence.  He was born August 4, 1928 in Coffee County, Tennessee the son of the late Pate Goodwin and Rosa Crouch Goodwin. In earlier years, he was involved in both construction and logging in Coffee County.  He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and hunting and was a former member of the Coffee County Coon Hunter’s Association.  He also enjoyed restoring old cars and tractors and basically enjoyed tinkering with anything that needed to be fixed or repaired. 
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by four brothers, Vernon, Bill, Hobart and Dillard Goodwin and four sisters, Flora Vickers, Elizabeth Morton, Lucille Faulkner and Ruth Goodwin.
Survivors include loving wife and companion of over 22 years, Brenda Goodwin of Manchester.  Mr. Goodwin had two children by previous marriages; son, Lanny Goodwin and wife, Peggy of Murfreesboro and Glenda Howell and husband, Ronnie of Florence, South Carolina; grandchildren, Dr. Shawn Goodwin of Nashville, Beth Boling and husband, Glenn of Murfreesboro and Tyler Howell of Florence, South Carolina and two great-grandchildren, Jackson and Taylor Boling; a brother, Jimmy Goodwin and wife, Alice of Murfreesboro and a brother-in-law, Clayton also of Murfreesboro, TN.
