TSI’s Tina and Trio lend a kind handTo the Editor:
The purpose of this letter is to express appreciation to those on your staff who have been helpful to me.
They are Tina and the gentleman in charge of delivery, Trio Caldwell. Both of them helped to deliver extra copies of the High Mach to me, to give to the family of a person who was featured after his death.
I am grateful for their kindness, as is the family of the deceased.

Some real New Year’s resolutions
To the Editor:
Slow Food over fast food and Main Street over wall street; Common Good over greed and Good Food that is good to eat.
Fair Trade over free trade and Peace over endless war; Small business over big business; Peace and Prosperity, nothing more.
Health Care over health insurance; Sun and Wind over big oil and coal.
Real Reform over corporate bailouts; get nuclear off the public dole.
Legislators for the People, not shills for corporations.
Infrastructure over corporate structure; country over nation.
Giving to the Community over tithing to super-banks; Sacrifice over gluttony, Public Demonstrations over think tanks.
Common Sense over greed and arrogance.
If you feel strongly about an issue, and want to leave this place a little better than you found it, get involved this election year. If JFK were being sworn in today he might say “ask not” what the insiders can do for you, ask what you can do for each other.
