In front of a regional television audience, the Tullahoma Wildcats used a litttle extra spotlight time to polish-off Columbia Thursday night 21-20 in overtime.
Columbia came into Tullahoma 2-0 with wins over Lawrence County and Dickson County. The 'Cats are now 2-1 with a loss to Blackman and a win over Cookeville last week. Columbia was ranked second in the state in Class 5A in this week's Associated Press poll.With Tullahoma's back against the wall, quarterback Jared Davis found Shane Hagan on fourth and 15 to bring the 'Cats within one point of the Lions during the overtime period.
Wildcat Head Coach John Olive called a fake field goal on the following PAT that sealed the win with a two-poiunt conversion run.
